As we look ahead to our grand opening in 2026, excitement is already blooming at Westwood Vowery & Estate. While our doors aren’t open just yet, couples are already booking, dreaming, and planning. It’s never to early to start adding to your cart. So if you’re one of the lucky guests invited to a future Westwood wedding, consider this your sneak peek and style cheat sheet.
To help you arrive with confidence (and camera-ready style), we’ve put together a guide just for you. From dress code etiquette to outfit inspiration and seasonal tips.

Dress the part
Before you shop, check the invitation or wedding website. Is it black tie, cocktail, or garden party chic? At Westwood, most weddings will fall into the semi-formal or formal categories.
General Dress Code Tips:
Black Tie: Floor-length gowns, tuxedos, and luxe materials. Velvet, silk, and satin feel right at home at Westwood.
Formal / Cocktail: Mid or knee-length dresses and jumpsuits, dark suits and crisp dress shirts for men, and elegant accessories. Think elevated!
Garden Party / Boho: Flowy florals, linens, and light tones – especially perfect for spring and summer ceremonies in The Vowery.
Pro Tip: Heels and grass don’t always get along. Wedges or thicker heels are your friend, especially if the ceremony’s outdoors.

Color do’s and don’ts
What to Wear:
Soft pastels and muted florals for spring
Rich jewel tones or classic navy for fall
Earthy neutrals or subtle prints year-round
Dusty rose, sage, and champagne always look stunning at Westwood!
What to Avoid:
White (unless specifically stated – it’s best to not compete with the bride)
Loud neons or distracting graphics
Anything too casual (leave the jeans and flip-flops for another day)
Westwood worthy accessories
Wraps or Shawls: Even summer evenings can get breezy.
Statement Jewelry: A great way to elevate a simple outfit without overdoing it.

For the guys
We see you, gents – and we’ve got you covered:
Classic Navy or Charcoal Suit: Works for nearly every wedding!
Linen Blazer & Trousers: Great for spring and summer weddings.
Add Personality: Try a floral tie, a pocket square, or even fun socks (just keep it classy).
Bonus points if you match the wedding colors – but when in doubt, neutrals never fail.
Pro Tip: Checkout tips from our friends at The Tailored Society, experts on materials and styles best suited for your occasion.
Final tips
Arrive Early: Give yourself time to stroll through our venue.
Bring a Backup Layer: Our estate is stunning year-round, but evenings can cool quickly.
Enjoy the Moment: Our team will take care of the details, you’re here to celebrate!
