If you know us, you know we can’t resist an excuse to throw a party, even if we’re just raising a glass to the changing seasons. Every day, Westwood’s construction site sees new and exciting changes, and our Fall Party embraced an opportunity to feature fabulous vendors and showcase their talent in transforming even the most unique settings.

Westwood’s Fall Party was an opportunity to invite guests to explore construction so far and give just a little taste of the elevated hospitality to come with our upcoming venue. Alongside a handful of some fabulous vendor partners and guests dressed to impress, we hosted an event worthy of Indy’s best season.

Food & Drink

Hosting isn’t complete without great pairings of delicious food + tempting sips. For this party, Westwood’s bar showcased crafted beverage offerings like a boozy Pistachio Rose Sazerac and a fabulous Smoky Apple Butter Margarita.

Westwood Preferred Caterer Sweet & Savory dished up delicious bites perfect for the season: Jalisco Arincini bites, Mexican Shrimp cocktail shooters, and Hmong Grilled Beef Tips with Tiger Bite Sauce (so tasty).

Design & Blooms

The Reception Hall at Westwood was in a fabulously unique design state for the party: our segmented arch designs are visible above the (massive) main bar. We took advantage of the various construction equipment and embraced the look: florals rigged on a lift made a backdrop to one of our lounges. We displayed artwork in unfinished walls. MichaelAngelo’s Events truly showed off with some of the most beautifully unique rentals: burnt orange and blush pink lounge furnishings, with a clean, slightly retro style elevated the space with an instantly cozy and cool look. Other favorite rental selects? a gorgeous chandelier, and stunning bars to match the lounges. If you’re planning to host a tented wedding at Westwood, or love the feel of a curated lounge space or photo area for your wedding day, we highly recommend perusing the offerings from this talented Westwood Preferred Vendor.

What’s an event without gorgeous florals? Renaissance Flower blew us away with delightfully creative and dreamily playful designs: an entryway featuring rigged fall fruits and tonal autumn branches and blooms. On the Vowery stage, fall trees in front of drapery made for the perfect photo spot.

Music & More

DJ Hope Flows set the ambiance with the perfect music for our evening together. We’ve been connected to Hope for 5+ years now, and she’s our singular female DJ option on the Westwood Preferred Vendor List, typically playing parties for the Indy Pacers parties. Her set did not disappoint!

Styling inspiration: The Tailored Society and Marie Gabriel Couture showcased crisp menswear and gorgeous gowns respectively. Both of these Westwood Preferred Partners have well-earned glowing reputations in our community. For couples seeking a premium, curated styling experience, these shops deliver wedding-day fashion that exceeds expectations.

Foundations Wedding Planning + Design, a planning and design group exclusively serving clients at Westwood and sister venue The Sixpence, brought the design of this stunning party to life, and showcased an interactive floor plan for couples to explore the way their reception could be designed. Nearby, Westwood Linen Program’s rack of dreamy fabrics gave couples an opportunity to envision colors and textures in their reception hall.

Our guests enjoyed an opportunity to get custom mini painted portraits to commemorate the day, courtesy of Murals by Abby. This unique favor idea has been a standing favorite of ours. Consider hiring a live artist for your wedding, either to capture a scene from your day or to delight your guests during reception with a chance to take home a beautiful little gift they’ll want to keep forever!

Ever After Charcuterie offered delicious VIP charcuterie fare. This charcuterie partner stands out with their adorable umbrella-and-cart setup, offering a customizable space for event branding that guests love. Their individually presented bites make for a clean, outdoor-friendly option, and with a team member on hand to serve, the entire experience feels polished, welcoming, and effortlessly VIP.
