From timeless elegance and romantic details to bold color palettes and unexpected touches, these weddings are just a glimpse into the world of endless possibilities at Westwood Vowery and Estate. When your venue takes care of all the details, from weather planning to elaborate bar package provisions and beyond, you get to focus on designing a wedding day that feels personalized to your love story, down to every detail. These unique celebrations each reflect the couple behind it, proving there’s no one way to create a beautiful wedding day.

Sofi & Nick

Captured by EK Photography

Sofi & Nick’s wedding day was filled with gorgeous color, personality, and the perfect blend of whimsy and elegance. Vibrant florals pulled in rich tropical tones: a gorgeous asymmetric ceremony arrangement featured mossy greens, dusty purples, toasted orange-reds along with soft pinks and ivory. The trailing, free-form botanics were mirrored in Sofi’s bridal bouquet, while bridesmaids carried monochromatic bundles that echoed the day’s palette. Reception Hall tablescapes featured rust red calla lilies, pistachio hydrangea bundles, and chrome table number signs for an effect that felt warm yet exotic. One of our favorite details was the orchid-shaped dinner menus, adding an elegant and unexpected finishing touch to each place setting. The couple’s outfitting was standout as well: Sofi wore a stunning drop-waist gown, classic veil, and french twist, while Nick sported a classic black tux with silk lapel facings and black buttons. Was it just a happy accident that their bar orders (a dirty martini and bottle of Stella Artois) seamlessly matched the day’s color palette? We don’t need to know. This Westwood wedding was a true celebration of flawless style from top to bottom, and we’re absolutely taken with the magic. More from this day at the end of the blog.

Hannah & Cole

Captured by Kim Kaye Photography

Hannah & Cole opted for a timeless, classic feel for their Westwood wedding day. From live harp ceremony music and crisp black styles for their wedding party’s outfitting, to swan iconography on both their custom wedding sign and tiered lambeth cake, every style decision felt intentional and romantic. Cole chose a white tux jacket for his ceremony look while Hannah’s strapless gown was both chic and effortlessly elegant, before both bride and groom changed into reception styles: a sparkling mini dress for her and a black tux jacket for him. Beautifully demonstrating that classic styling is anything but boring, these two planned the ultimate party for their guests, complete with a photobooth printing retro film strips and a visit from a Hoosier icon to get the dancefloor going. Samantha & Samuel

Samantha & Samuel’s summer wedding day was breezy and beautiful, blending sweet, soft details with touches of emblematic glamour for a day that felt both boldly memorable and infused with tradition. Blending styling elements that seemed to borrow from the best of both Old Hollywood and Old Southern charm, this Westwood wedding day was an iconic and authentic reflection of the hosts and an instant classic in our book. Samantha’s style: a gorgeous lace-trimmed veil, voluminous blonde Hollywood curls, and a stunning fit and flare gown. Samuel opted for a classic black tie for his suit, creating a perfect visual pairing that felt vaguely nostalgic and so perfect for the day. Bridesmaids wore powder blue: first, the cutest getting ready sets for Terrace Suite portraits, then floor-length gowns in various styles to flank their beautiful bride. Large green and white floral arrangements added the perfect touch to their ceremony, completed with a white-draped light wood cross, and doubled as the perfect reception decor, stationed in front of the head table for a dreamy backdrop to the first dance. These two opted for a mini sweetheart cake alongside separate cake service to their guests, and we spotted another swan cake topper (a trend we are beyond obsessed with). Maybe our favorite moment of the day? Unreal newlywed portraits in The Library Suite captured the joy of their romance and the perfect insight into their priceless connection behind the whole reason for the day. Stephanie & Reuben

Captured by Complete Weddings & Events

Stephanie & Reuben’s July wedding day was an event to remember. Their Westwood celebration featured sweet, dreamy styling, but what took the forefront of the occasion was the incredible, contagious energy radiating from the couple and their loved ones. Every minute of the day, and every snapshot from it, features the biggest smiles and the most exciting, joyful atmosphere. These two leaned into hosting beautifully and prepared the perfect day for their guests. The day was nonstop fun: Henry’s poker table was put to good use, their lobby cocktail hour featured photo spots, live violin music, a vintage phone audio guest book filled with well wishes, and the reception dance floor was maybe our most lively to date. The couple’s personal style was breezy and romantic: Stephanie wore a gorgeous strapless a-line gown lace gown and a tumbling curly updo, surrounded by her bridesmaids in blush pink gowns. Reuben was outfitted in a crisp all-white suit and necktie, while his groomsmen wore light beige suits with blush neckties. Their ceremony stage featured basket-style vessels overflowing with classic white florals, with bundles of coordinating blooms adorning aisle chairs with lace and pearls. In perfect style for a day celebrating their love story, large black and white portraits of the couple, nestled in green and white florals, were scattered through the lobby. We adored the authentic energy of this Westwood wedding, carrying the day from first look to last dance. More from this day after vendor credits.
